Elias was born and raised in Houston, TX. He grew up in Houston’s Fourth Ward and attended Gregory-Lincoln Education Center from kindergarten to 8th grade. After middle school he went to Mirabeau B. Lamar High School and ran track and cross country. He attended the University of Houston and graduated with a BS degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. He was the first in his family to attend and graduate from college. After graduating he got a job in San Antonio, TX where he worked in research and development before he decided to attend graduate school. During his time in graduate school Elias worked full-time and was a full-time graduate student. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating Elias continued his studies at Texas A&M University and graduated with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. During his time as a student Elias published his research in several journals and conference publications. One of Elias’ research journal publication resulted in a patent where Elias is an inventor, his patent is owned by Texas A&M University.

Elias has volunteered, contributed to, and installed solar energy systems for charity and philanthropy. He has served many Houstonians and Texans around the state by resolving their solar energy issues. His passion is to help others and his goal is to convert everyone to sustainable renewable energy.
